Octoglass glass undergoes extensive testing so that we can be confident not only in its quality but also in its safety. Temperature testing showed that our glass withstands 105°C. However, we do not recommend using the glass at such high temperatures, because high heat negatively affects the entire insulated glass unit structure. The recommended temperature range for electrochromic glass is from −40°C to 60°C.
Temperature regime
Temperature testing shows Octoglass glass withstands up to 105 degrees Celsius, though the company recommends an operating range of -40 to 60 degrees to protect the insulating glass unit structure.
