This Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website https://octoglass.ru/, owned by Joint Stock Company “Octoglass” (JSC “Octoglass”). The Policy is a supplement to the Personal Data Processing Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small fragment of data that a website stores in the user’s browser or on the user’s device. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to maintain the operation of the website, remember settings, ensure security, measure traffic and, subject to separate consent, for other analytical or marketing purposes.
2. What Data May Be Processed
- cookie identifiers and similar technical identifiers;
- IP address;
- type and version of the browser and operating system;
- device type, technical characteristics of the screen and interface;
- browser/system language;
- address of the visited page, referral source (referrer), date and time of the visit;
- information about actions on the website necessary for analytics and interface improvement, if the user has permitted the relevant cookie category.

4. Consent and Cookie Management
On the first visit to the website, the user must be able to make a choice regarding optional cookies. Until such choice is obtained, optional analytics and marketing cookies for which consent is required must not be activated.
Recommended interface structure: “Accept all”, “Necessary only”, “Customise”. Refusal of optional cookies must not block access to the main content of the website.
The user may subsequently change or withdraw their choice via the “Cookie settings” link on the website. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
5. Third-Party Services
If the website uses third-party web analytics, maps, video, contact forms, callback or other services that set their own cookies or obtain technical identifiers, their current list, purposes and periods must be displayed in the cookie management interface and/or this Policy. The Operator must not indicate in the Policy services that are not actually used.
The website uses Yandex Metrika (counter 54436369) as optional analytics. The Metrika script is loaded only on the octoglass.ru domain and only after the user consents to analytics cookies. Metrika is not connected on the test site te.octoglass.ru or during local development.
Connecting a new third-party service that processes personal data or sets optional cookies requires prior review of its legal regime, place of data storage/processing and data transfer terms, as well as corresponding updates to the documents and website settings.
6. Browser Settings
The user may delete cookies and restrict their use by means of the browser. Complete disabling of all cookies may result in incorrect operation of certain website functions, including storage of the selected language and cookie settings.
7. Personal Data and Localisation
If information obtained through cookies and similar technologies relates to a specific or identifiable natural person, its processing is carried out in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ and the Operator’s Personal Data Processing Policy. When collecting personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation, the requirements for the use of databases in the territory of the Russian Federation must be observed.
8. Updating the Policy
The Operator updates this Policy upon changes in the composition of technologies used, third-party services or legislation. The current version is published on the website.
