In late November, the capital TV channel Moscow 24 aired a segment on Octoglass products and a joint development with Metro Media: a smart window for public transport that changes transparency depending on outdoor light levels and can, at users’ request, turn into a touch display.
Electrochromic modules developed by Octoglass serve in this window as a light filter with adjustable transparency, ensuring maximum image contrast on the window-display regardless of time of day or outdoor brightness.
The segment also covers other possible applications of Octoglass electrochromic solutions for façade, interior, and transport glazing, as well as their performance characteristics.
