Our company Octoglass actively conducts scientific research. We develop new technologies, methods, and approaches that we then successfully apply in production. Today our achievements are born in the laboratory; tomorrow they are already put into practice on the production floor.
Our joint developments with the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology (Technical University) are reflected in scientific articles. For example, issue No. 1 of the scientific and technical journal “Analitika” published our joint article with Head of the Department of Chemical Industry Process Automation, Dr. Tech. Sci., Prof. L.A. Rusinov, and postgraduate S.O. Lebedev, titled “Development of a method for accelerated quality control of electrochromic devices.” The article describes a new non-destructive method for monitoring the properties of architectural electrochromic devices, addressing one of the key challenges in electrochromic glass development and manufacturing. The solution itself has been patented.
