The use of electrochromic glass on a car allows the glass to be tinted when required, for example, on a sunny afternoon, or to make the glass as transparent as possible, for example, in poor visibility conditions, at dusk or at night. Controlled tinting allows, among other things, to provide additional comfort and protection from prying eyes. At the touch of a button, the glass is tinted or rendered.
