At the II International Technology Festival "Energotechnofest-2025", which brought together 4,000 innovators from 32 countries, graduate student of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Technology (SPbGTI) Sergey Lebedev presented a breakthrough development for intelligent control of large-format electrochromic glass. The project was implemented with the support of Octoglass, a world leader in the production of electrochromic solutions. The system was included in the top 10 finalists of the Energotechnohub Incubator, who fought for a grant of 1 million rubles.
Key aspects of development
Energotechnofest 2025 has become the largest platform for young engineers: the number of participants has increased 4-fold since 2024. Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg, emphasized the festival's role in implementing the President's instructions on technological development. Over the past 5 years, 1,500 startups have received support, creating 5,000 innovative solutions.
